It’s finally time to reveal the winners of the first Grasmere Photography Competition. Thank you so much for sending through all these wonderful entries, our judge Nicola Hippisley and all of us at FROGS were so impressed by them – what amazing participation from the children!

“This picture really has it all. It is one we can all relate to, capturing that magical moment in time glimpsed during a lockdown walk, reflections beautifully spaced and aligned,” says Nicola. “There is also the classical combination of water, trees and stone. The lighting is wonderful, too, and so is the composition – with the dynamism of the swan moving across the frame in the decisive moment.”
