The Grasmere Treasure Trail
The Grasmere Treasure Trail
Put your detective hat on and solve the Grasmere Treasure Trail’s 36 clues to find out where the Grasmere treasure is hidden. Along the way, you’ll discover the history of your neighbourhood and have fun spotting new things on streets you’ve walked many times before.
Designed for both adults and children, the 6km trail takes about 3h to complete. It’s a 8-shaped loop taking in both Clissold Park and Newington Green (where there are cafés and public toilets). Stop at Clue 21 to break it into 2 shorter walks. All clues are original to this trail and all titbits of local history have been checked by local historian Amir Dotan of Stokenewingtonhistory.
